Turkish Chicken Meatballs (Tavuk Köfte)

1In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken (1 lb), grated onion (1 small), minced garlic (2 cloves), breadcrumbs (¼ cup), egg (1), chopped parsley, cumin (1 tsp), paprika (½ tsp), black pepper (½ tsp), red pepper flakes (½ tsp), and salt (½ tsp). Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2Using your hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.

3Heat olive oil (¼ cup) in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken meatballs and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through.

4Serve the Turkish chicken meatballs hot, garnished with sliced lemon (1).
