Banana Liquor Delight

1Peel and slice the ripe bananas (6) into a large glass jar.

2Add the sugar (2 cups) to the jar with the bananas.

3Split the vanilla bean (1) and scrape out the seeds. Add the seeds and the bean to the jar.

4Zest the lemon (1) and add the zest to the jar.

5Squeeze the lemon (1) juice into the jar.

6Add the cinnamon stick (1) to the jar.

7Pour the vodka (4 cups) over the ingredients in the jar.

8Seal the jar tightly and shake well to mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

9Store the jar in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks, shaking it gently every few days to infuse the flavors.

10After 2 weeks, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the solids.

11Transfer the banana liquor to a clean bottle or container for storage.

12Serve the banana liquor chilled or use it in cocktails for a delightful tropical twist!
