Fluffy Scrambled Eggs

1Crack the eggs (4) into a bowl and add the milk (¼ cup). Whisk until well combined and frothy.

2Melt the butter (2 tablespoons) in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

3Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook for a few seconds without stirring.

4Using a spatula, gently push the cooked edges of the eggs (4) towards the center, allowing the uncooked eggs (4) to flow to the edges.

5Continue this process until the eggs (4) are mostly set but still slightly runny.

6Sprinkle black pepper (¼ teaspoon) and shredded cheese over the eggs (4) if desired, and gently fold them in.

7Cook for another minute or until the eggs (4) reach your desired consistency.

8Remove from heat and garnish with chopped chives if desired.
