Strawberry Cinnamon Vodka Infusion

1In a large saucepan, combine water (4 cups) and sugar (1 cup). Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar (1 cup) is completely dissolved to create a simple syrup.

2Add the cinnamon sticks (4) to the simple syrup and simmer for 10 minutes to infuse the syrup with cinnamon flavor.

3Remove the cinnamon sticks (4) from the syrup and let it cool to room temperature.

4Wash and hull the strawberries (2 cups), then slice them into halves or quarters.

5In a large glass jar or container, layer the strawberries (2 cups) and the cooled cinnamon-infused syrup.

6Pour the vodka (2 cups) over the strawberries (2 cups) and syrup mixture.

7Seal the jar or container tightly and store it in a cool, dark place for at least 3 days to allow the flavors to infuse.

8After 3 days, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the strawberries (2 cups) and cinnamon sticks (4).

9Transfer the infused vodka (2 cups) back into a clean jar or bottle for storage.

10Serve the strawberry cinnamon vodka (2 cups) infusion chilled or over ice. Enjoy responsibly!
