Crispy Potato Onion Spice Bake

1Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil (¼ cup).

2Wash and peel the potatoes (4 large). Slice them into thin rounds.

3Peel and slice the onions (2) into thin rings.

4In a small bowl, mix paprika (1 tsp), garlic powder (½ tsp), onion powder (½ tsp), cayenne pepper (½ tsp), thyme, rosemary, oregano, black pepper (½ tsp), and chili powder (½ tsp) to make the spice mix.

5In a large mixing bowl, combine the potato slices, onion rings, and spice mix. Drizzle olive oil (¼ cup) over the mixture and toss until evenly coated.

6Transfer the potato and onion mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

7Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese (½ cup) over the top of the mixture.

8Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the potatoes (4 large) are crispy and golden brown, stirring halfway through cooking for even browning.

9Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

10Serve the crispy potato onion spice bake hot as a delicious side dish or snack.
