Egg-in-a-Hole Breakfast Bread

1Using a round cookie cutter or a glass, cut a hole in the center of each slice of bread.

2Melt 1 tablespoon of butter (2 tablespoons) in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

3Place the bread slices in the skillet and crack an egg into each hole in the bread.

4Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5Cook for 2-3 minutes until the egg whites are set and the bread is toasted on the bottom.

6Carefully flip the bread slices and eggs (2) using a spatula.

7Add the remaining tablespoon of butter (2 tablespoons) to the skillet.

8Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the eggs (2) reach your desired level of doneness.
