Chocolate Chip Cookies

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2.In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

3.Add the vanilla extract and mix well.

4.Sift in the maida and cocoa powder, and mix until well combined to form a cookie dough.

5.Fold in chocolate chips or chunks into the dough.

6.Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

7.Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are slightly firm.

8.Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
