Creamy Chicken Bacon Pasta Bake

1Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.

2Cook the pasta (8 oz) according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3In a large skillet, melt butter (2 tbsp) over medium heat. Add flour and whisk constantly for 1-2 minutes to make a roux.

4Gradually pour in milk (2 cups) while whisking to avoid lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

5Stir in garlic powder (½ tsp), onion powder (½ tsp), paprika (½ tsp), oregano, basil, and black pepper (½ tsp).

6Add shredded cheese (1 cup) and stir until melted and smooth.

7Combine cooked pasta (8 oz), shredded chicken, and crumbled bacon with the cheese sauce. Mix well to coat everything evenly.

8Transfer the pasta (8 oz) mixture to the greased baking dish.

9In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs (½ cup) and grated Parmesan cheese (2 tbsp). Sprinkle this mixture over the pasta (8 oz) in the baking dish.

10Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
