Creamy Chicken Bacon Pasta Bake

1Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.

2Cook the pasta (8 oz) according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3In a large skillet, melt the butter (2 tbsp) over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk constantly for 1-2 minutes to make a roux.

4Slowly pour in the milk (2 cups) while whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens.

5Add the garlic powder (½ tsp), onion powder (½ tsp), paprika (½ tsp), oregano, basil, black pepper (½ tsp), and salt (½ tsp). Stir well to combine.

6Add the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheese (1 cup) to the sauce. Mix until the cheese is melted and the ingredients are well combined.

7Add the cooked pasta (8 oz) to the skillet and stir to coat the pasta (8 oz) with the sauce.

8Transfer the pasta (8 oz) mixture to the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.

9In a bowl, combine the cubed bread and grated Parmesan cheese (¼ cup). Sprinkle this mixture over the pasta (8 oz) in the baking dish.

10Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.
