Chocolate Date Delight

1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

2In a large mixing bowl, combine the brown wheat flour (1 cup), cocoa powder (½ cup), baking powder (½ teaspoon), and salt (¼ teaspoon). Mix well to ensure there are no lumps.

3In another bowl, combine the milk (1 cup) and honey (½ cup), stirring until the honey (½ cup) is fully dissolved in the milk (1 cup).

4Add the chopped dates to the milk (1 cup) and honey (½ cup) mixture, stirring to combine.

5Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.

6Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

7Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
