Creamy Paneer and Green Peas Delight

1Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds (2 teaspoons) and let them splutter.

2Add the finely chopped onions (2 large) and sauté until they turn golden brown.

3Stir in the minced garlic (4 cloves), grated ginger (1 inch), and slit green chilies (2). Sauté for another 2 minutes until fragrant.

4Add the pureed tomatoes (4 medium) to the pan and cook until the oil separates from the mixture, about 10 minutes.

5Sprinkle in the turmeric powder (1 teaspoon), red chili powder (1 teaspoon), and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.

6Add the green peas (3 kg) to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the peas are tender.

7Cut the paneer (2 kg) into cubes and gently fold them into the mixture. Cook for another 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

8Pour in the heavy cream (1 cup) and sprinkle the garam masala (2 teaspoons) over the top. Stir gently to combine and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.

9Remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
