Teriyaki Salmon and Turkey Thigh Delight

1Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2In a small bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce (½ cup), honey (2 tablespoons), sesame oil (1 tablespoon), minced garlic (2 cloves), and grated ginger (1 teaspoon) to create a marinade.

3Place the turkey thighs (2) in a large bowl and pour half of the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor.

4In the meantime, prepare the salmon fillets (2) by placing them in a separate bowl and pouring the remaining marinade over them. Let the salmon marinate for about 15-20 minutes.

5Once the turkey thighs (2) have marinated, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

6After the turkey has been in the oven for about 10 minutes, add the salmon fillets (2) to the baking sheet, skin side down, and continue baking for the remaining time until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, about 15-20 minutes.

7Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the meat rest for a few minutes.

8Sprinkle the cooked salmon and turkey with chopped green onions (1 tablespoon) and sesame seeds (1 tablespoon) before serving.
