Perfectly Brewed Classic Tea

1Boil 2 cups of water (2 cups) in a kettle or saucepan until it reaches a rolling boil.

2If using loose tea leaves, place them in a tea infuser or directly into the boiling water (2 cups). If using a tea bag, simply add it to the boiling water (2 cups).

3Remove the kettle from heat and let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

4If you used loose tea leaves, strain the tea into a cup to remove the leaves. If you used a tea bag, simply remove the bag from the cup.

5Add sugar or honey (1-2 teaspoons) to taste, if desired, and stir well to dissolve.

6If you like, add a splash of milk or a slice of lemon for extra flavor.
