Decadent Chocolate Milkshake

1In a blender, combine the whole milk (2 cups), cocoa powder (½ cup), granulated sugar (¼ cup), vanilla extract (1 teaspoon), and chocolate syrup (¼ cup).

2Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy.

3Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar or chocolate syrup (¼ cup).

4Pour the chocolate milkshake into tall glasses.

5Top each milkshake with a generous dollop of whipped cream.

6Garnish with chocolate shavings on top of the whipped cream.

7Serve immediately with a straw.
