Authentic German Apple Cake with Cinnamon and Almonds

5Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk (½ cup), and mix until just combined.

6Fold in the sliced apples gently into the batter, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

7Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

8Sprinkle the sliced almonds (½ cup) on top of the batter.

9Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
