Spicy Chicken Masala Delight

1Heat oil (2 tablespoons) in a large pan over medium heat.

2Add the chopped onions (2 medium) and sauté until they turn golden brown.

3Stir in the turmeric powder (1 teaspoon) and sauté for another minute to release its aroma.

4Add the chicken (500 g) pieces to the pan and cook until they are no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.

5Sprinkle the garam masala (2 tablespoons) and chicken masala (2 tablespoons) over the chicken (500 g), mixing well to coat the pieces evenly.

6Add the chopped tomatoes (2 medium) and green chilies (2), stirring to combine.

7Season with salt to taste and add a little water to create a sauce, if desired.

8Cover the pan and let it simmer on low heat for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken (500 g) is cooked through and tender.

9Once done, check the seasoning and adjust if necessary. Serve hot with rice or naan.
