Caramelized Onion Delight

1Heat the olive oil (2 tablespoons) in a large skillet over medium heat.

2Add the thinly sliced onions (2 large) to the skillet and stir to coat them in the oil.

3Sprinkle the sugar (1 teaspoon) over the onions (2 large) to help with caramelization.

4Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5Cook the onions (2 large), stirring occasionally, for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and caramelized.

6If the onions (2 large) start to stick to the pan, add a splash of water to deglaze and continue cooking.

7Once caramelized, remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
