Eggless Creamy Buttered Bread Pudding

1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread (4 cups) and melted butter (½ cup), tossing to coat the bread (4 cups) evenly.

3In another bowl, whisk together the milk (2 cups), sugar (¾ cup), vanilla extract (1 teaspoon), ground cinnamon (1 teaspoon), salt (¼ teaspoon), and the cornstarch mixed with water until well combined.

4Pour the milk (2 cups) mixture over the buttered bread (4 cups), gently folding to ensure all the bread (4 cups) is soaked.

5Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the bread (4 cups) to absorb the liquid.

6Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

7Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

8Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
