Cheesy Tomato Pasta Delight

1Cook the pasta (200 g) according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2In a large skillet, heat the olive oil (2 tablespoons) over medium heat. Add the chopped onion (1 medium) and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

3Add the minced garlic (2 cloves) and diced capsicum to the skillet, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until softened.

4Stir in the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano (1 teaspoon), dried basil (1 teaspoon), red pepper flakes (½ teaspoon), salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

5Add the cooked pasta (200 g) to the skillet, tossing to combine with the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.

6Remove from heat and stir in the grated cheese (150 g) until melted and creamy.

7Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
