Volcanic Chicken Wings with Fiery Sauce

1.Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2.In a large bowl, combine the garlic powder (1 tablespoon), onion powder (1 tablespoon), smoked paprika (1 tablespoon), cayenne pepper (1 teaspoon), black pepper (1 teaspoon), and salt (1 teaspoon). Mix well to create a spice rub.

3.Add the chicken wings (2 pounds) to the bowl and toss them in the spice rub until they are evenly coated.

4.Place the seasoned chicken wings (2 pounds) on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spread out in a single layer.

5.Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and cooked through.

6.While the wings are baking, prepare the fiery sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce (1 cup), unsalted butter (½ cup), honey (1 tablespoon), apple cider vinegar (1 tablespoon), Worcestershire sauce (1 tablespoon), and crushed red pepper flakes (¼ teaspoon).

7.Stir the sauce until the butter is melted and the ingredients are well combined. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

8.Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the fiery sauce over them. Toss the wings in the sauce until they are fully coated.

9.Serve the Volcanic Chicken Wings (2 pounds) hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
