Cheesy Delight Bread

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Mix well to combine.

2.In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, melted butter, and egg until well combined.

3.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

4.Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

5.Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

6.Once the dough has risen, punch it down and knead in the shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped chives (if using) until evenly distributed.

7.Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.

8.Cover the loaf with a towel and let it rise again for about 30 minutes, or until it has risen above the edge of the pan.

9.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

10.Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

11.Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
