Fluffy Egg White Cake

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

2.In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.

3.Gradually add the granulated sugar to the egg whites, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form and the mixture is glossy.

4.In another bowl, sift together the flour and cornstarch to combine well.

5.Gently fold the flour mixture into the egg whites in three additions, being careful not to deflate the egg whites.

6.In a small bowl, mix the vegetable oil and milk together until well combined.

7.Add the oil and milk mixture to the batter and gently fold until just combined, ensuring not to overmix.

8.Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

10.Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
