Cheesy Onion Pizza Buns

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2.In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Remove from heat and set aside.

3.Slice the buns in half horizontally and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.

4.Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce on each half of the buns.

5.Evenly distribute the sautéed onions over the sauce on each bun half.

6.Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the onions, covering them completely.

7.Sprinkle dried oregano over the cheese for added flavor.

8.Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the buns are slightly toasted.

9.Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving.
