Savory Peach and Apple Cheeseburger Delight

1.Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.

2.While the grill is heating, shape the ground beef into four equal patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.

3.Once the grill is hot, place the patties on it and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each one. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.

4.While the burgers are cooking, prepare the toppings. In a bowl, mix the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced pickles together. Set aside.

5.For the peach and apple slices, you can either grill them for a couple of minutes until they are slightly caramelized or serve them fresh. If grilling, place them on the grill for about 2-3 minutes per side.

6.To assemble the burgers, spread a layer of jelly on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese on top, followed by a generous portion of the lettuce, tomato, and pickle mixture. Add the grilled or fresh peach and apple slices on top of the veggies.

7.Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately with a side of toasted sourdough bread for dipping or as an additional side.
