Mystical Greek Herb-Infused Olive Oil

1.In a small saucepan, combine the extra virgin olive oil, dried oregano, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried basil, and crushed red pepper flakes.

2.Add the minced garlic to the saucepan.

3.Place the saucepan over low heat and gently warm the oil mixture for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Be careful not to let the oil get too hot or the herbs and garlic will burn.

4.Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the oil to cool to room temperature.

6.Strain the oil through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean, dry glass bottle or jar, discarding the solids.

7.Seal the bottle or jar tightly and store in a cool, dark place for up to 2 weeks.
