Timberwolf and Ojibwe Inspired Game Meal for Therians

1In a large pot, combine the ground beef and chopped large game intestines (1 cup) over medium heat. Cook until the meat is browned, stirring occasionally to break it up, about 5-7 minutes.

2Add the diced carrots (1 cup), peas (1 cup), sweet potatoes (1 cup), and wild rice (½ cup) to the pot. Stir to combine all the ingredients well.

3Pour in the 4 cups of water (4 cups) and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.

4Let the mixture simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes (1 cup) and wild rice (½ cup) are tender.

5Stir in the pumpkin puree (½ cup), fish oil, dried sage, and wild garlic (if using). Mix well and cook for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.

6Remove the pot from heat and let the mixture cool completely before serving.
