Cheeseburger pasta

1In a small bowl, mix the tomato purée, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce (1½ tbsp), mustard and oregano together to make a sauce.

2Heat the oil in a large, lidded ovenproof pan over a medium heat. Add the onion (1) and fry for 4-5 mins, until beginning to soften. Add the mince and cook for 5 mins or until browned, breaking up with a spoon as you go.

3Add the garlic, fry for 1 min, then add the tomatoes and the sauce and cook for 2 mins, until the tomatoes are beginning to break down. Add the stock and milk, bring to the boil and tip in the pasta (300 g). Stir, lower the heat to a simmer, cover and cook for 10-12 mins, until the pasta (300 g) is al dente and the liquid has mostly been absorbed.

4Heat a grill to high. Sprinkle the cheese over the pasta (300 g) and grill for 2 mins, until melted. Sprinkle over the gherkin slices and serve.
