Classic Milk Tea Boba Bliss

1.Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.

2.Add the black tea leaves or tea bags to the boiling water and let it steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

3.While the tea is steeping, cook the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions, usually boiling them for about 5-10 minutes until they become chewy and translucent.

4.Once the tapioca pearls are cooked, drain them and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

5.After the tea has steeped, remove the tea leaves or bags and stir in the sugar while the tea is still warm, allowing it to dissolve completely.

6.Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.

7.In a glass, add a generous amount of cooked tapioca pearls at the bottom.

8.Fill the glass with ice cubes, then pour the chilled tea over the ice, leaving some space at the top.

9.Add the milk to the tea and stir gently to combine. If desired, add vanilla extract for extra flavor.

10.Serve immediately with a wide straw to enjoy the boba!
