Garlic-Infused Hotdogs with Oyster Sauce Glaze

1.In a small saucepan, combine the minced garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is warmed through and well combined, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

2.Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. If using a grill, lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.

3.While the grill is heating, score the hotdogs diagonally on both sides to allow the flavors to penetrate better during cooking.

4.Place the hotdogs on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are heated through and have nice grill marks.

5.During the last minute of grilling, brush the garlic-oyster sauce glaze generously over the hotdogs, allowing it to caramelize slightly on the grill.

6.Remove the hotdogs from the grill and let them rest for a minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

7.Serve the hotdogs in buns, drizzled with any remaining oyster sauce glaze, and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
