Orange Jello Apple Raisin Cake

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

2.In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

3.Add the cream cheese to the mixture and beat until well combined.

4.In a separate bowl, dissolve the orange jello in 1/2 cup of hot water, stirring until fully dissolved. Allow it to cool slightly before adding to the batter.

5.Incorporate the dissolved jello into the butter and sugar mixture, mixing well.

6.Add the diced apples, raisins, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange food coloring to the batter, stirring until evenly distributed.

7.In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, yeast, corn starch, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

8.Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

10.Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
