Guilt-Free Bacon Cheeseburger Mac & Cheese Delight

1.Cook the whole wheat elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2.In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.

3.In the same skillet, add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

4.Add the lean ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary.

5.Stir in the beef broth, almond milk, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

6.Once simmering, add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and stir to combine. Gradually add the cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until melted and creamy.

7.Fold in the crispy turkey bacon, mixing well to incorporate all ingredients. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

8.Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
