Creamy Salmon and Bacon Pasta Delight

1.Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

2.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the rendered fat in the pan.

3.In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the salmon fillet to the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and flake it into bite-sized pieces.

4.Lower the heat and pour the heavy cream into the skillet, stirring to combine with the bacon fat and garlic. Bring to a gentle simmer, then add the grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and chopped dill. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

5.Add the cooked pasta, flaked salmon, and crispy bacon to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6.Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.
