Savory Herb and Garlic Cheeseball Delight

1.Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the garlic cloves on a small piece of aluminum foil, drizzle with a bit of oil, and wrap them up. Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes until soft and fragrant. Let them cool slightly, then squeeze the roasted garlic out of their skins into a small bowl and mash with a fork.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined and smooth.

3.Add the mashed roasted garlic, chopped parsley, chives, thyme leaves, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to the cheese mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

4.Shape the cheese mixture into a ball using your hands. Wrap the cheeseball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow it to firm up.

5.While the cheeseball is chilling, prepare the coating by mixing the chopped pecans and dried cranberries in a shallow dish.

6.Once the cheeseball is firm, remove it from the refrigerator and unwrap it. Roll the cheeseball in the pecan and cranberry mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks evenly.

7.Place the coated cheeseball on a serving platter. Serve with crackers or sliced baguette for spreading.
