Cheesy Garlic Macaroni with Spicy Red Sauce

1.Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted.

3.Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

4.Stir in the red pasta sauce, mixed herbs, oregano, and chilli flakes. Let the sauce simmer for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

5.Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta evenly with the spicy red sauce.

6.Reduce the heat to low and sprinkle the shredded cheese over the macaroni. Stir gently until the cheese is melted and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.

7.Season with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

8.Serve hot, garnished with extra chilli flakes or herbs if desired.
