Heavenly Potato Dumplings with Garlic Butter Sauce

1.In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, flour, egg, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix until a soft dough forms.

2.On a floured surface, divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a ball about the size of a golf ball.

3.Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Carefully drop the dumplings into the boiling water, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface.

4.While the dumplings are cooking, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

5.Once the dumplings are cooked, use a slotted spoon to remove them from the water and transfer them to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss gently to coat the dumplings in the sauce.

6.Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the dumplings and serve immediately, drizzled with any remaining garlic butter.
