BBQ Chicken Steak Feast with Classic French Fries and Wine

4.While the chicken is marinating, prepare the fries. Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips to create classic French fries.

5.Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, which helps them become crispier when fried.

6.After soaking, drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.

7.In a large bowl, toss the dried potato strips with cornstarch to coat them lightly. This will help achieve a crispy texture when frying.
