Spicy Tomato and Capsicum Salsa

1Start by preparing your ingredients. Dice the tomatoes, red capsicum, (1) and green capsicum (1) into small pieces. Finely chop the red onion (1 small) and fresh red chilies, (1-2) adjusting the amount of chili based on your spice preference.

2In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, red capsicum, (1) green capsicum, (1) chopped red onion, (1 small) and chopped chilies. Stir gently to mix the ingredients without mashing the tomatoes.

3Add the chopped cilantro to the bowl and mix it in with the other ingredients.

4Squeeze in the lime juice (1 tablespoon) and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together until well combined.

5Let the salsa sit for at least 15 minutes at room temperature to allow the flavors to meld together before serving.
