Wholemeal Chicken Roll with Sweet Chilli Drizzle

1.Begin by preparing the chicken. Season the raw chicken breast with salt and pepper. Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

2.Once the oil is hot, add the chicken breast to the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.

3.While the chicken is cooking, prepare the other ingredients. Wash the lettuce leaf and pat it dry. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds and set aside. Rinse the alfalfa sprouts and set them aside as well.

4.In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and sweet chilli sauce together to create a delicious drizzle. Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more sweet chilli sauce if desired.

5.Now, assemble the roll. Take the wholemeal bread roll and slice it in half horizontally. Spread a layer of the mayonnaise and sweet chilli mixture on the bottom half of the roll.

6.Layer the lettuce leaf, cucumber slices, and alfalfa sprouts on top of the sauce. Then, add the sliced chicken breast and sprinkle the grated cheese over the top.

7.Finally, place the top half of the roll on the assembled ingredients. If desired, you can drizzle a little more sweet chilli sauce on top before closing the roll.

8.Serve the Wholemeal Chicken Roll immediately, enjoying the fresh ingredients and the delightful sweet chilli flavor.
