Pepperoni Chicken Bake with Cheesy Pepper Topping

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced bell peppers, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the peppers are evenly coated with the seasonings.

3.In a baking dish, drizzle the olive oil to coat the bottom. Place the chicken breasts in the dish, ensuring they are spaced evenly apart.

4.Top each chicken breast with a layer of the seasoned bell pepper mixture, spreading it evenly over the chicken.

5.Layer the sliced pepperoni over the bell peppers, covering them generously.

6.Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the pepperoni, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese on top.

7.Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

8.After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
