Creamy Italian Sausage and Broccoli Penne

1.Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

5.Pour in the chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, and milk. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

6.Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

7.Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

8.Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
