Savory Herb-Crusted Steak with Garlic Butter

1Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

2Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

3In a small bowl, mix together the chopped rosemary, thyme, parsley, salt (1 teaspoon), and black pepper (½ teaspoon) to create the herb crust mixture.

4Rub the olive oil (2 tablespoons) evenly over both sides of the steaks, then press the herb mixture onto both sides of the steaks to form a crust.

5Once the grill or skillet is hot, place the steaks on it and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.

6While the steaks are cooking, prepare the garlic (4 cloves) butter by combining the softened butter, minced garlic (4 cloves), and lemon juice (1 teaspoon) in a small bowl. Mix well until fully combined.

7Once the steaks are done, remove them from the heat and let them rest for about 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

8Top each steak with a generous dollop of the garlic (4 cloves) butter before serving.
