Almond-Orange Delight Cake

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, almond flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to combine.

3.In another bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, milk, eggs, orange zest, orange juice, and almond extract until smooth.

4.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.

5.Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

6.Sprinkle the chopped almonds evenly over the top of the batter.

7.Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8.Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

9.Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar before serving.
