Juicy Chicken Grill Burger with Zesty Sauce

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken (500 g), garlic powder (1 teaspoon), onion powder (1 teaspoon), smoked paprika (1 teaspoon), dried oregano (1 teaspoon), salt (1 teaspoon), black pepper (½ teaspoon), Worcestershire sauce (1 tablespoon), and olive oil (1 tablespoon). Mix until well combined.

Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the chicken patties on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the patties are golden brown.

While the patties are cooking, prepare the zesty sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise (½ cup), Dijon mustard (2 tablespoons), lemon juice (1 tablespoon), honey (1 tablespoon), and hot sauce (1 teaspoon) (if using) in a small bowl. Stir until smooth and well combined.

Toast the burger buns (4) on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.

Assemble the burgers by placing a grilled chicken patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato (1) slices, red onion, (½) and a generous dollop of the zesty sauce. Place the top half of the bun on each burger.

Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
