Decadent Banana Chocolate Muffins

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it with butter.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and sugar, mixing until well combined and creamy.

3.Add the melted butter and vanilla essence to the banana mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.

4.In a separate bowl, whisk together the maida, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt until evenly mixed.

5.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

6.In another bowl, beat the eggs lightly and then fold them into the batter until just combined.

7.Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about ¾ full to allow for rising.

8.Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

9.Once baked, remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
