Garlic Butter Naan: Soft and Fluffy Delight

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well to combine all dry ingredients.

2.Add the warm water and yogurt to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough starts to form.

3.Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

4.Place the kneaded dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

5.Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and let them rest for 10 minutes.

6.While the dough is resting, prepare the garlic butter by mixing the melted butter with minced garlic and chopped cilantro in a small bowl. Set aside.

7.Preheat a cast-iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

8.Take one dough ball and roll it out on a floured surface into an oval or round shape, about 1/4 inch thick.

9.Place the rolled naan onto the hot skillet and cook for about 1-2 minutes until bubbles form on the surface. Flip it over and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

10.Remove the naan from the skillet and immediately brush one side with the garlic butter mixture. Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.

11.Serve the garlic butter naan warm, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
