Cheesy Pesto Beef and Broccoli Skillet

1.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

2.Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

3.While the beef is cooking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets to the pasta water during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

4.Once the beef is cooked, add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.

5.Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet with the beef. Pour in the red pesto and mix well until everything is evenly coated.

6.Reduce the heat to low and sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it sit for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7.If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
