Nutty Gond Halwa Delight

1.Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.

2.Add the gond and fry until it puffs up and turns golden brown. Remove and set aside.

3.In the same pan, add semolina and roast until it turns light golden and aromatic. Remove and set aside.

4.In the same pan, add water and milk, and bring to a boil.

5.Add grated jaggery to the boiling mixture and stir until it dissolves completely.

6.Reduce the heat and add the roasted semolina, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

7.Add the fried gond and mix well until combined.

8.Stir in the cardamom powder and salt to taste.

9.Add the mixed nuts and grated coconut (if using) and mix well.

10.Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the halwa thickens to your desired consistency.

11.Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
