Garlic Lemon Broccoli Chicken Bake

1.Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, dried oregano, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

3.Add the bone-in split chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

4.In a large baking dish, arrange the marinated chicken breasts skin-side up. Spread the frozen broccoli florets around the chicken in the dish.

5.Drizzle any remaining marinade over the broccoli and chicken to ensure everything is well-seasoned.

6.Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). The broccoli should be tender and slightly crispy at the edges.

7.Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute in the chicken.

8.Serve the chicken and broccoli warm, drizzling any pan juices over the top for added flavor.
