Ghee-Glazed Milk Bread Rolls

1.In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, melted ghee, and egg.

3.Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4.Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

5.Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball.

6.Place the dough balls on a greased baking tray, leaving space between them. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.

7.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

8.Brush the tops of the rolls with melted ghee and sprinkle with sugar.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

10.Remove from the oven and brush with additional melted ghee before serving.
