Decadent Milk Chocolate Cookie Trifle

1.In a heatproof bowl, melt the chopped milk chocolate over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

2.In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, powdered milk, and eggs until well combined. Gradually add this mixture to the melted chocolate, stirring constantly until fully incorporated and smooth.

3.In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with the sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until soft peaks form. Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until well combined, then fold in the remaining whipped cream until no streaks remain.

4.To assemble the trifle, start by layering a spoonful of the chocolate mixture at the bottom of a trifle dish or individual serving glasses. Follow with a layer of crushed biscuits, then another layer of the chocolate mixture. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of the chocolate mixture on top.

5.Chill the assembled trifle in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.

6.Before serving, sprinkle extra crushed biscuits on top for added texture and crunch.
